About Us

Tricky Imp has changed dramatically over the years and has been involved with many different projects and subjects but since the covid problem, things have changed.

Bethran - The Storm Serpents

The Second Book in the Bethran series by Peter Gray is now on sale here on this website and his own at www.petergrayauthor.co.uk. This title is the equal of the first lavishly written book of the series.
The book also now includes a map which was asked for by the readers.
The third book release date is still unconfirmed but has the working title of The Lair of the Artorix. The first book, Bethran Seer of the Picts has just had a reprint and has a slightly different cover.

The Black Thistle Adventures

At last, Peter has confirmed that the first of the Black Thistle adventures will go ahead this year. It is described as an historical adventure with a swashbuckling style. The first book, The Sword of Culloden could be out late in the year with the second, the Cloud Warriors the year after. There will also be a third book but at the moment we have no information.

A Tale of Crofting

Alex McGlashen's book, A tale of Crofting is to be delayed a little due to 'reasearch issues' but he is still looking at a 2024 release.
